Gratitude Practice 2024 Feb 14: The Valentine Box

Grateful for my tiny artists and her unwavering courage and endless creativity. Some say that Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year but I don't think it stands a chance against Valentine's Day....and really it's all about creating the most treasured container for beloved love notes. This year's masterpiece was entirely of her design and execution. Multiple days, full unbridled access to our art supplies and one quick trip to the local craft store and.. waaalaaa... creative perfection.

Grateful for this sweet girl and the joy and fire she brings to our life. Grateful for her sweet Daddy who holds us both together in safety and love. Grateful for her kind teacher and supportive classmates who show love and kindness as they continue to practice the art of friendship. Grateful for her YouthCity pals who as expected are morphing into a rag tag collective of community siblings. Grateful to watch her expand and experience all of the magic the third grade can offer. Grateful for a silly made up highly produced and carefully marketed holiday all about celebrating the people you love.
