Gratitude Practice 2016 Nov 15: This Meadow...

So there is a meadow just inside the entrance of the Grand Canyon National Park and I love this little piece of land. As you drive south towards the North Rim this meadow is on the right hand side of the road and it stretches for quite some time. I look forward to seeing this meadow almost as much as the Grand Canyon itself and I almost want to silence the music and the happy chatter in the car while we drive by it just so I can soak in its magic. This meadow is enchanting to me regardless of the season or time of day as it's beauty changes but does not diminish with time. Today, I am grateful for this little bit of powerful stretch of land and how my mind often winds down that sacred stretch of highway from time to time.
