Gratitude Practice 2020 Day 108: Urban Farming
"Mom, how did you know I've always wanted to be a farmer?!?!"
We did a thing today. Nature has been doing a thing on our dinning room table for weeks and now we are hoping our little pandemic inspired urban farming adventure does its thing in our backyard. Here's to the promise of pumpkins and watermelon and squash and cucumbers and carrots and so much zucchini because zucchini bread is one of the best things ever. Tomatoes and strawberry plants will be purchased at some point next week because how can one truly farm with out them?
Tonight, grateful for seeds, soil, water and sunlight and all the promise they contain. Grateful for a patient husband and our every excited kid farmer. Grateful for all the yummy veg we hope to harvest all summer long.
