Gratitude Practice 2020 Day 129: Birthday #44

Grateful for another successful trip around the universe. Birthdays for grown-ups are kind of silly when you think about it. Way less razzle dazzle needed once you reach a certain point in time and todays way low key birthday was perfection. Very chill and all that I ever wanted. Grateful for the kind notes and texts and well wishes. Grateful for the last year of learning and growth. Lots of big wins and a few clarifying colossal face plants. Grateful for my improving health...both mental and physical...feels good to feel good. Grateful for the kindness of strangers and the warm company of good friends. Grateful for time and the perspective it provides. Grateful for meaningful work, good food, functioning cars and for our warm happy home. Grateful for belly laughs and for the appropriate amount of uncomfortable sleepless nights that were included with the last year of life. Mostly grateful for my little family and for the safety and home they provide. Year 43 was a mixed bag of yeah and yikes and boy did it stretch. Happy to be on the flip side filled with nothing but good vibes for the next 365.
