Gratitude Practice 2020 Day 13: A Bird Party

When your very excitable and creative 4 year old finds her parrot Halloween costume from a few years ago and insists on wearing it to pre-school on the day with a major snow storm your only option is to negotiate....and negotiate I did.

Today, I am grateful for our first ever "Bird Party." She's got her costume on, sunggled in a blanket and pillow nest, enjoying a big bowl of popcorn (because it's the closest thing we have to anything resembling a seed) and we are watching the Angry Birds movie. In the end we both won and I can't think of a better way to spend a Friday night.
