Gratitude Practice 2020 Day 207: Days Off
Grateful for a day off. I’ve decided to take every Friday off for the next several months as part of my self-care detox plan. Today was a blissful day of nothingness. I ran errands by myself. I lazily explored a few favorite stores by myself. I watched two mindless movies during the day as I lay in my bed by myself. I puttered around my house at my own rate and speed all day long...by myself. It felt like such an indulgence. It felt so great to just unplug my brain and do nothing at all productive. It was so great to just be by myself and its helping me to remember who I am and who I want to be.
