Gratitude Practice 2020 Day 272: VOTING

Grateful….beyond grateful, actually...for the opportunity to...VOTE!

Grateful for all those working behind the scenes to make this process possible...the poll workers are the true hero's today.

Grateful for the ability to check the box and use my voice to participate in this democracy.

Grateful for hope, for hard work, for hearty dialogue, for those who courageously step forward and lead...especially at this time... nothing easy or comfortable about holding an elected office.

Grateful for confirmation that my mail in ballet submitted several days ago not only made it but has been counted. This system in our community is working and there is much to be grateful for all involved who made this happen.

Grateful for our Kindergarten teacher who successfully explained a complete democratic process to our very passionate five year old political activist.

Grateful that we made it to this point….and really grateful to be moving on to whatever comes next. May we all choose kindness and respect and bridge building.
