Gratitude Practice 2020 Day 31: Creating the First Valentine Box…and yes, I may be peaking as both a Mom and a want-to-be artist

Today, I am grateful for the chance to help our little budding artist create her first Valentine Box. Loved explaining how the whole Valentine Day party works. Loved listening to her excited questions. Loved watching her make "ahhh haaaa" connections about the Valentines we made for her classmates a few days ago. Loved her squeal of excitement and explosive grin about all of these possibilities...her plans for glitter are B I G. Loved talking with her about the Valentine boxes I created in elementary school...nobody should be surprised that my Valentine Day box game was strong. Love watching this kid experience all of the fun firsts. Grateful for this big Mom moment today....and yes, I will hire out my excitement and limited skill set to friends and neighbors who loath this project...in exchange for math tutoring or car vacuuming or drive way snow removal...because it truly takes a village and we are all in this together...
