Gratitude Practice 2020 Day 70: Glitter & Chocolate Milk

It occurred to me tonight that the pairing of chocolate milk and glitter may just be the Obi-Wan Kenobi of this entire pandemic....you know... flavored milk and arts supplies...may be our only hope.

Never have I been more grateful for my basement of arts and craft supplies carefully tucked away in boxes and bins. It's down right embarrassing yet it's become magical to dust off another bin and liberate some chalks, or oil pastels or bobbles or beads and somewhere along the way I picked up a modest amount of glitter...which is like a kelo of crack to my little budding artist. And can we talk a bit about chocolate milk....kinda totally gross yet somehow completely delicious at the same time. It's like both a dessert AND a legitimate source of calcium. And my kid is seriously addicted.

Tonight, grateful to get totally wasted on juice boxes, popcorn, chocolate milk and glitter as SK and I got lit with the Trolls soundtrack in the background. Who says you can't party in a pandemic?
