Gratitude Practice 2020 Day 99: The Social Media Ministry

In biblical times, manna, a peculiar heavenly gift, appeared every morning to feed and nourishes and replenish a hungry people who wandering in unknown lands for unknown amounts of time. In modern times, a surprisingly powerful Social Media Ministry, feeds a middle aged depleted one day and conquering the next often frazzled but figuring it out working mama who is also hungry and is also wandering far more and far longer than she ever expected or feels comfortable to admit. This woman, like those wandering Israelites, is also being fed, inspired and nourished on the regular through an equally strange daily occurrence. I call it the Social Media Ministry and it's nothing short of a modern day manna. Both big and simple thoughts, insights, questions and answers randomly arriving in my feed to inspire, to heal, to trigger, to enlighten, to relieve and to somehow feed my often weary soul in such a surprising way. Tonight, grateful for this manna and this Social Media Ministry that so simply and yet so powerfully appears in my world at just the right time to nourish my soul in just the right way.
