Gratitude Practice Day 5: Jennifer Hatmaker’s For the Love Podcast with Nadia Boltz
Gratitude Practice Day 5: Jennifer Hatmaker's For the Love podcast with Nadia Bolz-Weber
I've been a big fan of Jen Hatmaker's writing for years. I've loved her books and listen to her podcast weekly. Jen is a brilliant thinker, a compassionate advocate, a very real mama, a public speaker and a forever champion of the underdog no matter who or where or what the circumstances. Should our un-likely paths ever cross I just know we'd become instant friends.
While I am inspired by most of her work and dazzled by her keen interviewing skills, a special podcast she aired last month: "A Thrill of Hope: Nadia Bolz-Weber Uncovers the Unlikely Miracles of Christmas" spoke directly to my soul. I've listened to it a few times and continue to find it meaningful and thought provoking with the last section particularly ringing true.
Today, I am grateful for strong faith filled women, both those I know personally and those I connect with through the interwebs, who think and feel deeply, have the courage to say hard words, put forth incredible effort to practice living and loving through a Christlike lense, and above all somehow successfully balance taking it all so seriously and yet keep it all so real. Should you have a free hour click on the link and give it a listen.
