Gratitude Practice 2020 Day 274: The Mango

It appears our family has a thing for mangos and I feel really great about it. We just can't get enough mangos. I think it's the complexity of the flavor. It's the not so oval and not yet round shape and the mix of colorful color in the peal that really makes the mango pop! Got to admit I kinda love it's weird stringy kinda hairy juicy fleshy-ness. The mango does not make it easy and I respect that...you want it's goodness...you've got to prove yourself ready and willing to work for it...to get juicy...to skillfully navigate around it's stubborn but life giving pit. Whew! You've got to prepare for this kind of adventure. And the smell...the smell is only made better because of its bright cheerful good morning world bright happy color. We just can't get enough mangos in our house. Dried. Fresh. In drink flavor. We just love 'em. Tonight, I'm grateful for all of the many ways in which mangos make our life better.
